- Well Woody,
- I just took a look at your web page and the offer for a free (or $25
- for full version) Final Writer for Win95. Is this an attempt to determine
- the market potential of windows? Or to get more people to get into the
- yearly upgrade scheme? I'm not complaining. I love FinalWriter. And
- I'd love to have it for my PC at work (they don't have amigas) except they
- won't switch to win95 for quite a while.
-
- After reading the last couple of messages here about this, I thought
- I'd voice another opinion. I think keeping your company afloat is reason
- enough. Yes, being an Amiga enthusiast is good too, but how much are
- people willing to pay for it? How many of us would stick with Amigas if
- our companies offered to double our salaries if we used PCs at home?
-
- I hate to loose amiga developers, and I hope we don't loose you. But
- still, life must go on. I hope AT takes notice and reconsiders it's
- position with your products as well.
-
- Please don't flame me as an amiga-is-dead follower, cause I still use
- my many amigas and plan to continue for a LONG time. But just because
- I want to stick with it isn't reason to attack others who can have very
- good reasons for looking beyond the amiga horizon.
